Bolt Pharmacy Jump Start Program - Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Bolt Pharmacy Jump Start Program ("Program"), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Program Overview. The Bolt Pharmacy Jump Start Program allows individuals who have not yet ordered from Bolt Pharmacy to earn a first order discount by referring new customers to our services. Participants ("Advocates") can earn a £40 discount on their first order when successfully referred friends ("Friends") make qualifying purchases and have their medication delivered.

2. Eligibility.

   2.1 Advocate Eligibility:

   • Must NOT have any orders with Bolt Pharmacy (if you are already a customer, please use the Bolt Pharmacy Referral Program instead)
   • Must be 18 years or older
   • Must have a valid UK address
   • Must provide a valid email address for program enrollment and reward delivery
   • Must refer only individuals with whom they have a genuine personal relationship
   • Must NOT use this program in affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, or any commercial promotional activities

   2.2 Friend Eligibility:

   • Must be a new customer who has never placed an order with Bolt Pharmacy
   • Must be 18 years or older
   • Must have a valid UK address
   • Must be approved for prescription medication by Bolt Pharmacy clinicians

3. How the Program Works.

   3.1 Enrollment & Referral:

   • Visit the Jump Start Program landing page and enter your email address
   • Receive your unique referral link via email
   • Share your link privately with Friends who click it and complete their first purchase
   • Friends receive £40 off their first purchase
   • If a Friend clicks multiple referral links, only the last-clicked link that directly led to the purchase will be credited

   3.2 Reward Distribution:

   • Advocates receive a £40 discount signup link once the Friend's medication has been delivered (processing may take 1-2 days)
   • The signup link is sent to the Advocate's registered email address and is valid for 30 days
   • Advocates may earn one £40 reward only for their first order
   • The signup link is non-transferable
   • If the Friend's order cannot be fulfilled, the order is not eligible for the reward

   3.3 Transitioning to the Referral Program:

   • Once Advocates become a Bolt Pharmacy customer, they can continue earning discounts through the Bolt Pharmacy Referral Program
   • A new link for the referral program will be issued after you make your first purchase
   • Jump Start links will NOT work after you become a customer. To continue referring, you must use your Referral Program link
   • Earn £40 vouchers for each successful referral (stackable for maximum savings)

4. Sharing Rules & Prohibited Activities.

   4.1 How You Must Share:

   • Referral links may ONLY be shared privately with individuals you know personally through direct messages, emails, or one-to-one conversations
   • You must have a genuine personal relationship with the person you are referring
   • Share only with individuals who have expressed interest and consented to receive health-related information
   • All sharing must comply with MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency), GPHC (General Pharmaceutical Council), and ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) guidelines

   4.2 Strictly Prohibited Activities:

   • Public posting of referral links on social media platforms, forums, websites, or any public channels is strictly prohibited
   • Engaging in affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, or any commercial promotional activities
   • Operating as an affiliate marketer, influencer, or professional promoter to generate referral conversions
   • Using referral links as part of any commercial or income-generating activity
   • Promoting referral links through paid advertising, sponsored content, or marketing campaigns
   • Creating content primarily designed to drive referral conversions
   • Systematic or mass distribution of referral links
   • Referring individuals with whom you do not have a genuine personal relationship
   • Mention specific prescription medication names (e.g., Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, semaglutide, tirzepatide)
   • Provide medical advice or discuss medication dosages, side effects, or efficacy
   • Advertise or promote prescription medicines to the general public
   • Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to generate referrals
   • Create fake accounts or use false information
   • Send spam or unsolicited messages
   • Offer additional incentives beyond program rewards
   • Refer yourself using multiple accounts or identities
   • Pretend to be a Bolt Pharmacy customer or claim results you haven't experienced
   • Make promises about weight loss results or medical outcomes
   • Use misleading health claims or guarantees

   4.3 Usage Limits:

   • Non-customer Advocates may earn one £40 discount only through the Jump Start Program
   • Each Friend can only be referred once
   • The same individual cannot be both an Advocate and a Friend in the same transaction

5. Sharing Best Practices.

   5.1 Do's:

   Share your excitement (in private conversations only):

   • "I'm looking forward to trying Bolt Pharmacy for my weight management journey"
   • "Excited to have found a convenient way to access healthcare from home"
   • "Love that I can work with licensed clinicians without leaving home"

   Share appropriately:

   • Send in private messages only to friends and family who have mentioned interest in weight management
   • Share directly with people you know personally who are looking for healthcare support
   • Ensure the recipient has expressed interest or consent
   • Limit sharing to genuine personal relationships

   5.2 Don'ts:

   Never share publicly:

   • NEVER post your referral link on social media, forums, websites, or any public platform
   • Don't send unsolicited messages or spam
   • Don't share with people who haven't expressed interest
   • Don't share with people you don't know personally
   • Don't use your link for commercial purposes or as an influencer

   Never make medical claims:

   • Don't mention specific prescription medication names
   • Don't provide medical advice or discuss dosages/side effects
   • Don't make promises about results or use misleading health claims
   • Don't advertise prescription medicines to the public

6. Medical and Legal Compliance.

   6.1 Prescription Medicine Advertising:

   • All referral activities must comply with MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency), GPHC (General Pharmaceutical Council), and ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) guidelines
   • Advocates cannot advertise prescription medicines to the general public
   • Personal interest sharing is permitted in private conversations only and must not encourage specific prescription medication-seeking behavior or mention specific drug names

   6.2 Data Protection:

   • Advocates must only share links with individuals who have consented to receive them
   • Personal data must be handled in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy
   • Bolt Pharmacy will not disclose Friend order details, consultations, prescriptions, or personal information to Advocates, except for confirmation of qualifying purchase completion

7. Disqualification. Bolt Pharmacy reserves the right to immediately disqualify participants and void rewards for:

   • Violating any terms in Sections 4, 5, or 6
   • Public posting of referral links
   • Violating advertising standards for prescription medicines (MHRA, GPHC, ASA guidelines)
   • Commercial use of referral links or operating as an affiliate/influencer marketer
   • Systematic referral generation or treating the program as a business opportunity
   • Referring individuals without genuine personal relationships
   • Any activity deemed harmful to Bolt Pharmacy's reputation or operations

   Decisions are final and at Bolt Pharmacy's sole discretion.

8. Program Changes & Termination.

   • Bolt Pharmacy may modify these Terms, reward amounts, or program structure at any time with reasonable advance notice via email
   • Outstanding rewards earned but not yet issued may be subject to modified terms
   • Bolt Pharmacy may suspend or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice
   • Outstanding rewards earned before termination will be honored

9. Signup Link Terms.

   • Signup links expire 30 days from issue date
   • Links have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable
   • Links are single-use and can only be applied to the Advocate's first order
   • Cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated
   • Cannot be applied to delivery charges, taxes, consultation fees, or used after expiration

10. Order Validation & Refunds.

    • Friend orders must be completed and delivered to qualify
    • Orders cancelled before dispatch do not qualify
    • If a Friend's order is fully refunded, associated rewards are void
    • Advocates who used their signup link for refunded referral orders may have the discount value deducted from future orders

11. Technical Issues & Liability.

    • Referral links must be used correctly for proper tracking
    • Technical failures in tracking do not guarantee reward payment
    • Bolt Pharmacy's liability is limited to the value of earned but unpaid rewards
    • No liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
    • Participants indemnify Bolt Pharmacy against claims arising from their referral activities, including regulatory violations

12. General Provisions.

    • These Terms are governed by English and Welsh law
    • Any disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts
    • If any provision is deemed invalid, remaining provisions remain in full effect
    • These Terms constitute the complete agreement regarding the Jump Start Program

13. Key Definitions.

    • Advocate: Individual with no Bolt Pharmacy orders participating in Jump Start Program who shares referral links only with personal contacts
    • Friend: New customer using an Advocate's referral link for their first purchase
    • Signup Link: £40 discount link sent to Advocates after Friend's medication is delivered
    • Jump Start Program: This referral program for non-customers
    • Referral Program: Separate program available to existing Bolt Pharmacy customers
    • Genuine Personal Relationship: A pre-existing relationship where both parties know each other personally (not commercial, influencer, or mass marketing relationships)
